Increase in the Minimum Wage in Mali

The Guaranteed Interprofessional Minimum Wage (SMIG) in Mali has been increased. The SMIG represents the legal minimum below which no employer may pay a salaried worker.

This increase aims to protect the purchasing power of Malian workers and to adjust minimum wages in line with changes in the cost of living. It applies to all employees covered by the Labor Code within the country.
